Operating over 120 vehicles as part of its traffic enforcement division from its Manchester office, the need for a supportive and reliable partner for the delivery of its vehicle lifting fleet is an absolute necessity for Marston Holdings. A partnership which has been in place with Tip N Lift for many years.
Andy Lillywhite has been the Head of Fleet for Marstons since 2023 and for him the success of the partnership rests on many different factors. “For me, Tip N Lift being our strategic partner on our vehicle lifters means that we can work ahead of time. They have our renewal programme and can just work to it. We have an ambitious replacement schedule, and we work with the team at Tip N Lift to develop the spec we need and then just order as we need to.”
The solution Marston Holdings source from Tip N Lift comprises a DVLA truck with a crane fitted onto the back. As part of any civil parking enforcement, Marstons simply pick up the vehicle before taking it away to a local compound ahead of needing to be collected by the owner.

This is not the norm in our industry. I know what I want the vehicles to do but having the technical expertise of Tip N Lift to bring this to life is something that is really of value to me.”

Their job is to get in and get the vehicle collected safely and efficiently. We take their feedback on how the cranes operate and this helps us to plan future specifications.”
